The Herren Project will sponsor programs throughout the year including a speaker series targeted towards youth and at-risk populations, educational forums, scholarships for basketball training and assistance for individuals seeking the first step in their road to recovery. All funding for The Herren Project is provided through private donations by individuals and corporations as well as proceeds generated from the sale of The Herren Project Performance Band and other merchandise. Impact Speaker Series: Chris Herren
The Impact Speaker Series is designed to educate youth and at-risk populations on the importance of a healthy lifestyle, good decision making and providing “real-world” techniques on how to handle pressure within a teen’s life, community or family situation. To submit your school or community group to be considered as a location for the The Herren Project Impact Speaker Series, please complete the On-line Grant Application and a member of our team will be in contact with you. Please note, there are a limited number of grants which are accepted and at this time all locations to be considered must be within the New England region of the United States.
Scholarships to Hoop Dreams with Chris Herren Camps & Clinics
Each year Hoop Dreams with Chris Herren holds camps and clinics for dedicated basketball players with the goal of bringing their hoop dream to the next level. The Herren Project will provide scholarships to high risk populations who have been affected by addiction or may have a loved one struggling with addiction. To apply for a scholarship please complete the application below. Please note, each application will be confidential and a limited number of scholarships will be granted to each Hoop Dreams with Chris Herren camp or clinic.
